ABOUT US
EFFA is committed to opposing and exposing animal cruelty and
was set up to help end the massive suffering of farm animals by promoting
vegetarianism and veganism. We initiate campaigns locally to expose cruelty and also act in support of
national organisations. EFFA campaigns on the streets, in schools and at the
institutions of animal abuse. We also organise Living Without Cruelty Fayres and hold information stalls throughout the year.
EFFA is dedicated to peaceful protest and consists of a wide diversity of
people and talents.
We welcome new members. Please click on 'Join Us' above if you would like to get
involved or send us an email at mail@effa-uk.org
If you would like to contribute to our fundraising and/or campaigning but can't make it along to an event, donations are appreciated!

PETITIONS
The Dr Hadwen Trust has launched a couple of petitions. The first
has been initiated on the No.10 Downing Street website
at http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/animaltesting/,
calling on the government to publish and commit to a timetable for the
total replacement of animal experiments with more modern, ethical and scientifically
reliable non-animal techniques. Please visit the site to support this call.
The Dr Hadwen Trust have also initiated a Europe-wide petition launched in 11
languages: support their call for urgent action to replace animal experiments www.endeuanimaltests.org
The Dr Hadwen Trust is the UK's leading medical research charity funding exclusively
non-animal research techniques to replace animal experiments, benefiting people

"Ever occur to you why some of us can be this much concerned with animals' suffering? Because government is not. Why not? Animals don't vote." - Paul Harvey
